Every gold timestamp is a spot in your episode. Under it: what you're saying there, the clip to drop in, and where to start and stop it. Clip links open at the right second.
YouTube won't let you add clips to a video that's already up. Studio can trim and blur, and that's it. So you can use this two ways:
Re-cutting this episode? Use the re-cut plan: exact cut points, 3 pickup lines to record, and every clip timed to the second.
Before you add clips, fix 8 lines. A clip under a wrong line makes the wrong line louder. These are listed at the bottom. Most are a few words. The big one is your mom claim at 22:00.
Your strongest moment is 13:30, "he denies any ties for himself or his family." Put the actual denial in the first 10 seconds, before you say a word.
Stop there on purpose. The next line, "openly embracing terrorist organizations," had no evidence behind it even in that hearing. Cruz's own witness said his concern was the network around El-Sayed, not El-Sayed himself.
You're right on this one. On Jan 13 the Treasury named the Egyptian branch a terrorist group for supporting Hamas. The Brotherhood as a whole is still not designated, which is your point.
Put the posts on screen. NBC already did it for you.
Fix the line before you add a clip here (see #1 below). Then use the debate, where Rogers raised it to his face:
I checked the FEC filings myself. Tayeb Jukaku gave $300,000 to Fighting for Michigan PAC, the super PAC backing El-Sayed (three checks of $100,000: Feb 3, Mar 31, Jun 22). On July 20 he gave another $100,000 to CAIR's own super PAC, Unity & Justice Fund. The next day, that PAC sent $175,000 to the same pro-El-Sayed super PAC.
This is the clip of the episode. It's from his own YouTube channel, posted the day after.
Let the whole thing play, condemnation included. You're arguing that the explanation cancels out the condemnation. That only works if the viewer hears both.
That line also takes you straight into the Piker segment at 29:00.
Best two minutes you'll find. NBC plays his "No," reads the sister's posts to him, and he calls them hearsay.
Note: in the same answer he says "I wasn't raised..." His campaign says he grew up with his father and stepmother, not his birth mother. Expect that pushback, and get ahead of it.
At 37:15, "one of the lowest civilian to combatant ratios in history" is disputed. If you keep it, credit it: "John Spencer, who chairs urban warfare studies at West Point, argues..." Otherwise a critic gets an easy win.
These are factual mistakes, not opinions. Your opinions, like "Trojan horse," are yours to make. Each fix is short, and they'd fit the corrections episode you talked about at 3:30.
What's true: court papers do name her more than a dozen times on wire transfers. Those transfers went to Iraq, and the case was about breaking the Iraq sanctions, not terrorism. IARA-USA pleaded guilty to that. The terror designation was for the global parent group. She was never charged or named as a co-conspirator, and nothing shows she knew. She's a private person, a nurse practitioner in Missouri. Saying on camera that she funded terrorists, when no court ever said so, is the one line here that could get you in legal trouble.
The sister wrote "activism in the Muslim Brotherhood" and that relatives were "jailed for being a part of it" (that's Egypt's 2013 crackdown). "Terrorist" is your word, not hers. Say it as your view: "I consider Brotherhood membership support for terror. She called it activism."
He sits on ISNA's Founders Committee. He's on the CAIR-Michigan board, and was its president from 2005 to 2010. Also, both groups were named in the Holy Land case but never charged. At 31:45 you started to say "convicted" and caught yourself. Keep it caught.
Slip of the tongue. You meant father-in-law. Viewers will clip it.
Israel's airstrikes started on Oct 7 and 8. His post was Oct 21. That's before the ground invasion (Oct 27) and before almost any mainstream politician used the word. "Two weeks in, before a single ground soldier went into Gaza" is true, and it lands just as hard.
In the same video he says "There is never a justification for attacking innocent people or houses of worship. Never." He later apologized, and told NBC he regrets it. Your argument holds: he explained a terrorist with a Hezbollah commander brother as a victim of pain. But say "explained it" or "excused it" and play his "never" line. Otherwise anyone who watches his video will think you lied.
Also: the attacker exchanged gunfire with a guard, not the kids. He drove into the early childhood wing, and on video said he wanted to "kill as many of them as I possibly can." That's bad enough without adding anything.
